We'll score at least 2 and win. Keane will score in the last few minutes in front of the Holte.

With Man City steadying the ship with the 3 0 home win over Fulham and our defensive frailties and poor home form it all points to a home defeat probably looking at 3-1, would be lovely to be wrong but cannot see it, they have too much for us to cope with, also I expect the gap between us and the bottom 3 to have tightened come the end of Sunday which will lead to twitchiness on site.

It was a shame citeh were defeated by Everton, when Mancini expected an easy game and altered his team. If they had won that, he may have rested players against us. But then I remembered that Villa have a knack of writing headlines for forgotten and squad players from other teams who are given a chance to prove their worth.

We'll get buggered senseless. Expect up to 14 players waddling off the pitch, in need of some stitches.

I can see us nabbing a goal through Bentles or Keano, but I think we'll turn into mush at the back. Expect Barry and/or Milner to score and rub the salt in.

1-4 City (being generous).
I don't even think we'll play too badly in midfield and attack, but they're just a country mile better than us and they'll tear us apart.

Let's hope citeh don't win the toss and elect to shoot towards the north stand in the first half.

Villa 5-1 citeh.

Fuck the protestors, fuck Man City, fuck their bunch of mercenary players and fuck their new found plastic fans.

We are Aston Villa, that is all that matters.

The problem is City have to win this, and not only will they want all 3 points, they will feel its for the taking,

I think we can draw a line through this one and look for the next game coming up.

All I'm looking for is a good, committed, positive performance. I reckon we might see Lichaj and Gardner come in.

Given - Hutton, Cuellar, Dunne, Lichaj - Gardner, Petrov - Ireland, Keane, CNZ - Bent

Guzan, Collins, Bannan, Albrighton, Clark, Heskey, Weimann

I think there's risks playing that way due to the lack of a real DCM. But Clark has been poor of late and Gardner and Petrov are pretty solid so should be able to play as a pair

Petrov and Gardner were walked through in the first half against Wolves

I'd bring in a more hardworking player than CNZ for this one. Either Albrighton or Gardner on the left
