Our record against Man City is awful, even when we considered ourselves to be better than them.  Now they're light years ahead of us, I can't see that changing.  4-1 to City.
It used to be. They haven't beaten us at VP since 06/07 season.

That said, I fear a twatting on Sunday.

The result doesn't even bear thinking about, I'm going for an optimistic 0-4

I can't see anything other than a Man City win.  However, if we play like we played against Arsenal at home before Christmas I won't be too disheartened.

I have a strange feeling about this one!! I can see us winning 2-1 (but there again we will probably lose 3-0)

I'd agree with you if it was anybody else except Man City, they really are so strong both physically and mentally I just can't see us beating them. Still, if we manage to hold out for 93 minutes and score with our only shot of the game as Sunderland did, I won't be complaining. It's also worth noting that Richard Dunne normally raises his game against them.

Realistically, I can't see anything but a defeat; 0-2.

That's what I thought last season, though.

You're probably right, but if anything, we are getting harder to predict.

A promising opening five minutes full of directionless energy ends when Dunne hacks down Milner for a needless penalty.  Bent misses two sitters plus Hart makes a wonder save, then Warnock lobs Shay from the halfway line.  McLeish takes off Bent and Keane for Heskey and Lichaj at half time. Barry bags a hat trick and moons the Holte End.

Anyone in the Bartons before the game? I used to go down the Villa with my nephew, but the swine has buggered off to Australia.

I met up with more Villa fans down in London than I ever did in Brum.

We'll have a go, but the keystone cops at the back will let us down again. 1-3.

Citeh are scoring 3 or 4 a game.  Add to that gifts from Dunne and Warnock and they'll improve even their impressive goal difference.

I think we'll play well but lose 2-1. Looking at the fixtures,i noticed we've only had two clean sheets since October 1st,this must be our worst run for a while?

And all within 90 minutes too.  We'll conceded at least 2 goals, whether we take the chances we'll also make will determine our fate result-wise.

Away from home they're not though. Everton and Sunderland created fuck-all between them in their games with Man City and managed to beat them and keep a clean sheet.

I can see us creating plenty of chances on Saturday, not getting our reward for it and leaking a couple in the other end.
