I have always said that Small Heath fans will quite happily accept a 2-0 defeat so long as Villa lose 3-0 on the same day.

A blue nose that i know very well has told me many times that Villa losing 5-0 would give him much much more pleasure than Blues winning 5-0.

Only caught the last few minutes last night but a weird thing happened.

A Blues fan who was able to talk about Blues! Even when the presenter said they could do Villa a favour tomorrow by beating Derby, he didn’t miss a beat & still talked about their own game. The only time he mentioned us was to predict that we’d win our game.

I think the name was Patrick - watch out for him - he must be an alien or something!

All the Blose and Baggies phoning in after the game have been talking about us...that Villa idiot who called in talking about Jack playing for Barcelona proper wound up them up! The last Baggies caller was proper salty...he can quote timings for the Villa idiot mentioning '82, but they just don't get how ironic and bitter they sound when all they can talk about is Villa.

If it was a fan of one of our rivals taking the piss then fair play to them, it was funny. I heard the call and thought it was an over excited Villa fan who possibly wasn't quite the full ticket.

Listening to the back again I'd say it was a fan from another club on the wind up firing out all the cliches they like to take the piss about and exaggerating Grealish to new heights...it was like the Bolton letter in a phone call.
