Jason the Villa fan has said tonight that he's surprised that we've not brought in 4 or 5 players by now. Why are some people so utterly ridiculous?

Well I thought we'd have a couple of outfield players in by now. What's wrong with fans voicing their annoyance?

Nothing but expecting 4 or 5 players to have signed 5 days into a January transfer window is a little un-realistic and smacks of impatience.

I think the one thing Villa fans can't be accused of lacking these last few years is patience.
What's annoyed me is that we allowed Gestede to miss monday's game even though Kodjia had gone off on international duty which left is weak up front. We should have at least got an outfield player or two in by now. I don't think that's so ridiculous.

I heard really good things about him when he was breaking though at Arsenal but other than that, I've not seen very much of him.

Agreed. Lansbury was the poster boy for Forest being one of the most nasty, niggly, cynical bunches of twats I have seen in many years at Villa Park earlier this season.

Even though they're are about to let a a player they could have sold for £20m end up going for a pittance this month or even worse, bugger all in the summer. It's not like they have even used him in the meantime and got any benefit from keeping him. Very poor management of the situation by the Stripey twats.
