He also re-crossed the City divide and played for "them" again in the late 80s. Can't be many players that have done that

It depends what you mean by 'cross the city divide'. Mcleish walked out on Blues to manage Villa. Spink played for another 3 clubs before he even became a coach under Steve Bruce.

Offer from another club without having to uproot family and move house is probably all they see.
