Stephen Ireland is one of the most gifted footballers we have seen for a long time - it will be great when the others get close to his wavelength.
Did anyone watch the game on TV and so had the benefit of replays? If so, were any of the million shouts for penalties actually penalties, because they certainly looked like it from where I was.

He brought the team forward many times in that game, especially the period before Bents goal.Fat bastard yes, but he played his part tonight in getting us back in the game.
