The smaller the crowd, the less moaning there will be.

Sad but true.

You should have seen what a mere 13,000 or so used to get up to circa 1968.
I did. They could make more racket than 40000 today if they wanted, even if it was 'the board must go'.

QPR will be relishing this, they know our confidence is shot, our home form poor and that the longer the game goes without us scoring the atmosphere will wosen. I cant believe our players are looking forward to this, I think we will get beat. Glad I am not going.

Would bring Collins back in, not sure why he was dropped after his best performance of the season against Wolves.

For the last year the same sentence could have been said about Kweller last season. Collins completely misreading the header for Wolves' second goal was hilariously bad. But Carlos was disappointing at the Library on Sunday so I don't mind who plays. Both and Dunne would all be dropped ideally.

And QPR?seriously?since when have they been any good? Funnily enough, the last time I was in England and able to get myself over to see the Villa was in September 2008....I took a Leeds supporting mate to the Carling Cup game before leaving the country...a few weeks before we had given city a tonking in the first game of the season. Sadly, we lost 1-0 to QPR. But in all fairness, they are a bit shit. We are not in the greatest of form at home, but I feel we beat them 3-1

I overheard a guy talking on the underground about this match, he said roughly "looking forward to this game, two shit teams but we have a bit of spirit"

Fair.

Fair.

Who did he mean by "we"?

I think we showed plenty of spirit at Wolves, Stoke, Chelsea, etc

I did, I used to be there in those days, tumbling out of the Aston Social at 2.57pm and straight onto the Holte terraces; such memories .. UTV.

So QPR will arrive bouyed by a clutch of new signings and their nearly new manager. Villa on the other hand still banging on about reducing wages and a manager making out a stray elbow was the reason we lost against the Arse. I can easily see another red card for Hutton and Collins/Dunne crashing into players like a bumper car at the back. 2-2 is the best I can see.
