3-1 to Villa, after going 1 down to an own goal.
Ireland (2) and Keane get the goals.

I can see us 2-0 up with 24 minutes to go it ends in a draw. Same old villa story nothing ever changes just constant disappointment for us all.

Can't see past Villa for this one.

Just can't imagine how QPR could possibly pull a fast one over Villa at Villa park, impossible.

I think the best we can hope for is a draw but I think the reality will be a home loss due to the hangover from Sunday's second half.

Crowd will be the lowest for a league game in years - under 27K.

7 minutes- Stephen Ireland picks up the ball some 40 yards from goal and plays a delightful ball through to Bent, who manages to beat the off side trap, his first time shot is kept out by a fantastic reflex save by Paddy Kenny only for the ball to fall to the waiting Gabriel Agbonlahor to put the ball into an empty net. ASTON VILLA 1-0 QPR

88 minutes- Jay Bothroyd  shields the ball on the by line just in side the Villa area, Warnock keeps a few yards back as Bothroyd desperately tries to turn and attack the Villa goal, Warnock keeps his distance and there is no immediate danger to Villa, mean while on the penalty spot Richard Dunne starts brushing his right foot along the ground repeatedly as if he's pretending to be a bull, he then positions his head down with shoulders arched up and rapidly runs towards Bothroyd, just before he gets to the QPR front man his whole body leaves the ground and he ends up flattening Bothroyd, the referee points straight to the spot. Helguson steps up and lazily rolls the ball into the corner as Shay Given falls the wrong way. ASTON VILLA 1-1 QPR.

90+3 minutes- Aston Villa have a free kick just to the left of the Rangers D, second half substitute Bannan strokes the ball directly into the arms of Paddy Kenny and thats the last of the additional 3 minutes up, Kenny hoofs the ball up field and over the front mens heads, as the ball bounces the Villa keeper calls that he has it, he jumps to claim it but then inexplicably from the left Stephen Warnock dives in to head it clear, both men collide in to each other and the ball bounces behind them, Alan Hutton spotting the danger runs back and jumps over the two men in order to clear the ball but at the same time Warnock has tried to get himself up off the deck, Huttons trailing leg hits Warnocks head and he too falls down with the ball hitting his head and trickling over the line. ASTON VILLA 1-2 QPR

What team wouldn't fancy a trip to VP these days?

This, but let's hope they rouse themselves.  They picked themselves up for the Arsenal league match in midweek when nobody was expecting any kind of decent performance.

A shitty, uninspiring, arse ugly game of football, that will end in a draw. Both defences shit. Neither that good going forward so probably, 1-1.
Bent for us.

The smaller the crowd, the less moaning there will be.

Sad but true.

You should have seen what a mere 13,000 or so used to get up to circa 1968.
