We beat Wolves because we played better than they did. But Arsenal are obviously a different challenge altogether. Still, we do enjoy it down there, usually.

Not in the first 45, we where abysmal, but of course you could put that down to Wolves inability to not put the game to bed.

And then of course they got all stupid and Villa stepped up a notch.

And yes Arsenal won't make the same mistakes I agree.

More like we didn't play well from 20-45 minutes. Otherwsie we were good value, regardless of anything else that happened.
Anyway, that's been done to death elsewhere.

Arsenal could make the same mistakes or worse, I honestly dont know what to expect in this match. Both sides are massively inconsistent. It could be utterly turgid or a feast of open attacking football. So I'm going for something in between. My head says we'll lose by a goal but my heart says we'll just nick it.

They're in no great shape at the minute, their defence is poor and slow, midfield isn't too strong,if we can get in their faces, keep RVP quiet,we have a good chance.

1-1.

Them 1-2 Us.   Bent and a cracker from Petrov.
This is my first away match for many years apart from pre season friendlies. And I'm feeling as excited as I used to do about going away in the 70's and early 80's.

Arse 0-1 Villa, Robbie Keane, oh, and Dunne to get sent off in injury time for a two footed lunge then multiple stamping on the fat cheat Henry.

Arsenal lost 3 on the bounce.........................................

Villa's recent away form good and only lost at Man City & Spurs all season.

If we go for it, we could do this.

2-1 Bent & The Keanster

One thing's for certain, if he plays, Henry will score against us. The prick.

Sounds about right. Both teams have the capacity to score goals, and both don't have the capacity to defend.

Prior to the home game in December I wouldn't have given us a prayer but now I believe we can win. It will still be tough and a draw would still be a good result.

Whatever the score, as long as one the Irish lads launch Henry into orbit I'll be chuffed to bits.

Not that we're still bitter or anything
