Our problem is we have too many players who are not only not comfortable with the ball, they look like they're allergic to it. Warnock, Collins, Hutton. All dross.

I didn't think we were too bad. Clearly lacking in confidence, but we're trying to pass it.

Its difficult to know where to go from here.

Defence Midfield, Attack, where do you go to change things.

under MON they didn't have to be. The system was counter attack and their job was to get rid to Ash, Gabby or Carew as quickly as possible. McLeish has to find players that actually want the ball and not just want to clear into a dark corner of Witton at every opportunity.

Two instances there showing how Bent is off-form and how much that makes his out-of-the-box play, never his strong point anyway, really quite poor.

Thing is because they happened together people now not look at the amount of flick ons, closing down, chasing the channells etc that he has done, or how well up to then he had kept the ball.

There are worse footballers in the team. 3 in the back 4 unfortunately.

Well, I don't doubt his chasing in the channels or his closing down, but the flick ons have been rather pointless (that's not his fault at all, flick ons are hardly the best tactic at the best of times), and technically he's not looking comfortable to me.

You're right though. The lack of footballing ability/thought/both in the back four is our biggest problem with the style of play at the moment.

McLeish is draped over our football like a dusty funeral shroud.

With two holding midfielders at home we should be having closer to 60% possession. We don't. Play Clark at LB and bring on Bannan in the middle of the pitch

We don't even look like scoring from a corner or free kick.  No threat whatsoever.
