I was having a discussion with a work colleague today about Aston Villa...

My main point was how can Randy Lerner do the following:

Bring in a manager who relegated our biggest rivals twice and then to top it off not even support him by backing him with money...

It is as though he wants him to fail!

Then it hit me...

Is Randy Lerner currently executed a devious plan to either; asset strip the club or reset the balance sheet so he can start again, but instead of putting himself in the firing line and getting all the fans on his back using the ginger one...

This isn't really worth a thread, is it? Not to mention the slighty iffy grasp of "reseting the balance sheet".
