Gabby is way, way too deep and not in any way a threat where he is playing. You can see Ireland trying to push it forward but Bent won't work as hard as Gabby would in coming back to receive. I'd rather we just stick him up front and play with one wide man.

Out-passed, out-muscled and out-played so far by a much more organised, aggressive and composed side. Totally rattled from the moment they made us attack the Holte End. We'll struggle to claw this back unless changes are made.

Gabby is not playing his role particularly well, N'Zog and Ireland are linking up fairly well.

Warnock & Bent spent 45 minutes being the weak links sadly. How much are Liverpool offering?

Dyer is the big threat and is skinning Warnock.

I still think we can create chances, but not great and Warnock is completely gone.

Well they certainly showed us, how to burst our bubble with a rocket! We looked very silly at times chasing shadows!

No wonder McLeish and Kean get stick when the season ticket holders pay to see dross and the odd good performance is away from home.

We're just not set-up to take the game to the opposition are we?

We've allowed them to be. We've been second to almost everything. They need a wake up call from McLeish to blow away the cobwebs, or this might get worse.

I actually think we started ok, before Warnock's abomination and I think that really shook us. Ireland is playing intelligently, but unfortunately some others aren't.
