John Terry's game has completely gone. I look forward to watching him play for Yeading, or Kingstonians

Bent doesn't always do that very well.

If we play like yesterday, in 20 minutes he showed why he is vital to us, finishing off a chance, should have been given a penalty and drew Terry from Petrov to leave space. Gabby is wonderful, and works like a dog, but his effectiveness in the final 3rd is not close to Bent.

I have always backed Stephen Ireland but today was even better than I thought he could be. To turn up at a New Years Party and have everyone come up to me saying how well he played... even that doesn't do it justice. What a fantastic player we have on our hands there, him behind Gabz or Bent can only mean good things for Aston Villa. Can quite safely say that is one of the most amazing performances (especially considering his tackling limitations) I have seen from a Villa player. Ran the show.
Gastric band my lord!Gastric band!
Yes Ireland was great yesterday but the question that needs to be asked is; Why the change from being a total waste of space to becoming a match winner and MOM?This wasn't just someone having a better game it was like a totally different player.Has he got a twin?
