I think Ireland can consider himself very fortunate that Heskey is injured.

I think we can consider ourselves very fortunate that Heskey is injured!
Why has Ireland got such a punchable face?

I think we all can.

Poor Emile.

It's true, though.

Ireland simply has to be given a good long run in the team now. He is quite clearly one of our best players.

He is if he puts his mind too it and works hard, theirs no doubting his ability its just getting him to decide what he wants to do with that ability if Mcleish can tap into that ability fair play

Another commitment to playing football. Tremendous stuff. Excellent goal too, well played N'Zog.

I'd feel quite confident about the second half if it weren't for Halsey. Terry should have been off for that handball and Drogba should have followed  for shagging Warnock.

Oh and I hope that Ireland gets a good run now. If staying, I hope Bent can come on for one of the wide men later, probably Albrighton, and benefit from us being a little more creative.

The same old condundrum with Bent. He could well exploit Chelsea weakness and get on the end of an Albrighton cross. But he'd give us nothing like what Gabby is giving us in that position outside the box.

Might need Bent for last 15 mins when Ireland gets tired. Just enough time to score a hat trick!

Two minutes in to the second half and there have been two moments where Collins has played a sensibe pass rather than booting it as hard as he can. I'm convinced he has been told to sort this part of his game out, and thank Christ for that. He seems to be trying.

ATTENTION! Collins just passed the ball to the feet of our midfielder! I repeat, Collins just passed the ball to the feet of our midfielder!

Hi mate. It's going pretty good, to be fair, we're just about the better team I think! Ireland playing very well, too.
