We are doing quite well.
Ireland looks up for it. Carlos in an improvement on Hutton. Warnock is still a liability.
Terry is still a sack of shit and Halsey is a joke.

Apart from gifting them the pen that was a bloody good performance. See, we can play football against so called giants.
On a side note, Chelsea fans are bloody quiet.

We have done well, and at least half of the free kicks have been Halsey giving it to them for looking at him. The penalty was nailed on, but Terry should have been sent off since, and all in all he has given anything he can to them, even sporting a semi when Drogba looked at him with a smile. Twat.

I only saw the last twenty minutes or so of the half, but I'd say we're looking pretty decent to be honest. Cuellar's doing a good job at Right-Back,  the midfield and Gabby are doing well. The centre-backs? Not so much.

Chelsea are good, but they don't look unbeatable to me. Hopefully we'll keep going at them in the second half and not try to play for the draw. Because we definitely won't get it.

Interesting. Probably the team most of us would have liked. Let's hope Ireland doesn't go missing and the two wingers don't play with shrivelled willies.

Pretty hopeful so far.

As a beard-sporting gentleman myself, I must say, Carlos Cuellar always seems to sport some magnificent facial furniture.

Impressive stuff.

Its not as good as Olof's was!

Quite

Will any beard ever be?

Cuellar's growth rate is amazing, though. I recall last season he shaved it off, played a game clean-shaven, then the next week he turns up looking like Brian Blessed already.

We finally have found some shape and balance. N'Zogbia starting to look like the player he was at Wigan, very intelligent with the ball. Ireland linking up well with him. Everybody looking good except the two central defenders.

Gabby needs to stick closer to Terry rather than David Luiz and get the scumbag sent off. Poor Gabby is taking a kicking for the team.

Great first half though. Proper football, I can't believe how fast that half has flown by.

I can't think of a team more detestable than Chelsea.  John Terry would literally get away with murder.  Nasty fucking chav cnut.

Great stuff going forward.  The goal was the best passing move from us in ages.

I'm starting to feel much more positive now. We're passing the ball properly for a start.

There's still a pretty high chance we'll lose of course, but it's good to see us actually competing.

Still a few brainless decisions from our defenders and I think Guzan still looks suspect. Will be good to get Given back.

Gabby is a real menace. N'Zogbia inconsistent still, but getting more effective. Albrighton's delivery very good.

Petrov and Clark are providing a good screen in front of the defence.

But Ireland motm up to now. Really good movement, touch, workrate and vision. Keep it up.

Oh and I hope that Ireland gets a good run now. If staying, I hope Bent can come on for one of the wide men later, probably Albrighton, and benefit from us being a little more creative.

I think you're absolutely right on this, and it just shows what can happen when you have a couple of 'technically' good players in the team - it's no coincidence that Ireland's other more promising perfomance(s) have been when he's played with Bannan in the team, another good passer of the ball.

Some good passing football being played, which is making a big difference. Really hope someone winds Terry up and gets him sent off. He's an example of the worst kind of human being, just a horrible nasty piece of shit

Good shape from us like the balance, I prefer Clark in midfield better than Herd to be honest.

May be being a bit Harsh but I think we can do even better than this, Luiz cant defend and cheating Terry is on a yellow.
