Chelseas weakness is at the back with Luiz and Terry...but if we sit back and dont make a decent game of it then they'll have a more than comfortable game. If we concede an early goal it could get messy.

I'm hoping Collins has been told not to hoof, we don't want to give possession to Chelsea.

Blackburn currently winning at O Triffid; not really v favourable for us and adds a little pressure on today's game.

That's exactly the team I'd have picked, though perhaps Hutton for Collins. Doess't mean we won't get beat of course.

Bent to come in at home v Swansea

I'm quite happy with that side, considering our resources.

well done Blackburn had a go at as i keep saying a poor united side by their standards this is how I want Villa to approach the Chelsea game

Interesting that Gardner seems to have moved ahead of delph with a place on the bench, unless delph is injured? Not sure why we need 3 strikers on the bench tbh.

Blackburn should be an inspiration to McLeish's inferiority complex.
Put it up to them and don't be fucking scared and meekly concede defeat beforehand like the Spurs, Liverpool and United games.

Considering his latest antics, I'm shocked Ireland is in the team.

Come on Stephen, show us you care.

I hope this is the case I don't rate Delph at all especially after his last game for us! Gardner deserves a chance to show what he can do
