We're at least trying to play some football, even if we're not succeeding.

Again we retained possession but the players stopped moving off the ball and it fizzled out.

Dean Whitehead is one freaky looking bloke.

I was thinking that.

He looks a bit "special".

He looks like an attraction from a 19th century traveling circus. Like he comes on before the bearded lady or something.

We seem to have turned a corner and can actually play a passing game.

Seems a better team spirit and togetherness. Need more spells in front of goal. C'mon Villa!

We've been very tidy of the past fives minutes but have little confidence when the ball crosses the half way line.

Get Ireland or Bannan on, we need that creative spark.

I'd agree with that.

We're at least trying to keep hold of the ball. We don't really have the spark to do much with it, that seems to be the problem.

Fuck's sake paulie give me a break. I only weigh in when people incorrectly state we are marking zonally. And every time I do you weigh in. Are you saying you wouldn't correct me if I seriously thought that all Villa's woes were down to something that couldn't reasonably be blamed? Because if you're going to blame tactics that we're not using, you might as well blame our ex-manager Bill Shankly for selling Messi to Small Heath for a set of tracksuits last summer. It's just as valid.
