Yeah agree again.

Keep Bannan and Ireland on the bench and bring them on in the 2nd half to see if they can open up the play a bit.

Only other problem I have with two wide players is the pitch up there is the smallest in the league so Stoke find it easy to mark out of the game wingers at home so I'd certainly give N'zog a free role and tell Gabby to cut inside whenever possible.

No Collins, Heskey and Delph and we will play them of the park.   Play those trio and we will lose in a dire game of attrition and AM will be in the firing line and righty so.

I don't see what team you could possibly put out without Collins or delph??! Petrov and bannan / ireland in midfield?

My Brother-in-law is over from Poland and I was hoping to drag him to the pub for the game, but he said he has to work tonight...he's been given the Villa game to set odds for.

He works for an online betting company, and as long as there is a broadband connection he can do his job anywhere in the world. He set the odds pre-game last night and gets a live stream during the game and adjusts the in-game odds for all the stuff like bookings, next goal etc.

His prediction?

"Villa should always beat Stoke, but 1 - 0 to Stoke"

Which un-discovered tribes of pygmies could probably predict.

Clark in midfield, Cueller in central defence with Herd at right back?

Old school. Not many operators use traders these days, especially not for live events.

*nods head appreciatively*

We're going to lose.

*shakes head sadly*

Cuellar is a solid central defender. But midfield is the last place to play him. Got to keep Albrighton in the team. Delph would get sent off in a game where it is going to be physical as he loses the plot. This game needs a very technically required approach. Cuellar RB to add height for corners set pieces etc. But someone in the midfield to get the ball out to the strikers quickly on the counter. Probably Herd Petrov and Clarke ......

Bent injured. Heskey in. No shit. Why wouldn't you play Ireland or bannan? Surely with 4 centre backs on the field we don't need a defensive striker?

No Bent?

They're going to sell him, aren't they?
