It was a slightly mistimed tackle, the criticism of him from many has been disproportionate.
Hutton is awful, he can't dribble, pass or tackle...seems to foul more than win the ball.

Van Persie had wound him up previously so he quite obviously went in hard deliberately in an attempt to get him back. He's now unavailable to play (but almost certainly still picking up his wages). I think that deserves some criticism.I'm pretty sure that the tackle wasn't on RVP, in any case the player was going past him and he had to make the challenge.However, it's your understanding if the written word that is letting you down. I said the criticism was disproportionate, not that he didn't deserve any. Things like that happen all the time, if it had been a favourite player doing it you'd be backing him, because it's Hutton he gets the dog's abuse.
