Massively disappointing, but can't remember the last time I felt so good after a loss. Much much better.

Even Hutton. Stupid, but at least he looked like he a gave a shit, and that's not something you could say about any of them the last few games.

Something to build on and please Eck, no more Heskey.

Can i be the first to say, hutton did let the frustration get to him but at least he was pissed off at losing rather than not caring. he was really good today
I accept that but to be booked for mouthing off and then going out to seek retribution is rubbish for a senior player. He had a good game (and has had a few others earleri this season too) but he is a mindless thug and I hope that Lichaj comes back and wins a place ahead of him. He's not a nice character and will always have the self-destruct button close by.
but we do need players like that. we have been a push over for a long time. even arsenal have a nasty streak in them

On the one hand Hutton was stupid for what he did, but Arsenal showed a very nasty snide side during that couple of minutes.

Arsenal have always had a nasty snide side, they're a bunch of horrible cheating arseholes.

Play like that every week and McLeish is qualified to be our manager. I still worry he'll revert to type, but if he doesn't then fine. Shame we lost, but that's the price you pay if you don't play properly against the weaker teams when the fixture list is kinder to you early the season.

Lets not hang Hutton here, he played really really well. I know it was very stupid at the end, but his performance overall showed a lot of promise.

Losing your rag and getting a red during a period of high-intensity is not clever or helpful: it's just mindless. I applaud commitment; I despise stupidity. Which one does Mutton fit into?

For those of you stating 'at least Hutton showed he cared/showed passion' - How the fuck is getting yourself sent off and suspended for a game when we are already woefully short helpful?
It's a complete and utter lack of professionalism, as is our piss poor ability to defend corners.
Yes, Hutton played well all game, yes it was a much improved team performance with better quality football.
However two moments where the professionalism is questioned has lost us points tonight and a player for the future.

Ironic that at the end of what was by far his best performance for us, Hutton is getting torn to shreds on this board!

Well, I would have said "great game, unlucky" but Fucking Hutton has really screwed things up for the rest of the Xmas / NY games!!
What a total arsehole

Exactly - it now means Cuellar will have to play right-back and James "Playmaker" Collins will start - great!

Don't even think about it. Tonight was a Hoof Free Zone and by no coincidence we loked a thousand times better. When's Herd back?
