Decent performance. Do not deserve to be behind at all.

N'zogbia and Albrighton very lively, Hutton having his best game, Clark's made a difference and played well apart from the daft challenge for the penalty.  Sad that Ireland's had to go of, as he has played really well. He's made some excellent runs into the box and passed it nicely.

Only let down has surprisingly been Gabby, whose has poorly been caught offside a couple of times, and given the ball away too much.

I'd also like to see Gabby chase down the bal a bit more. He's looking very Brian Little up there.

The only positive about losing Ireland is we have Bannan, who hopefully seen Ireland's display will try to raise his own game.

No more Collins and Heskey in the side please.

Indeed. I'm sure I'm probably seeing what I would like, but I'm convinced that Dunne & Cuellar look a better partnership than Dunne and Collins. At least, a viable option should Collins ever put in a below par performance (however unlikely that may seem......).

Is it just me or are we playing football?  C'mon lads! Lets get the  reputation back. Crowd in voice too. We might get beat but are we fighting.?

If we have to get beat then I would rather it was playing like this than the usual surrender tactic.

N'Zog - way to go big fella

Please please let there be no more Heskey Blues on show - with Gabby on form and bent this team looks like it can at least compete.

Without trying to piss on our own fireworks - we are still toothless when it matters, but this is at least an improvement

Holy smokes, that was a wayward old pass from N'Zogbia. A sign of how well we're doing is that it all ended up with a good attack from Villa! Some good stuff being played.

We need to put these guys under a little more pressure; they will concede if we play intelligently and press harder.
BTW, Dunne has played v well tonight.
