BB's not a bleedin' winger he's a midfield creator.
Bizarre.

Over rated... always looking for the Hollywood pass and rarely succeeds -  have now seen 2 great passes to L'pool players

It isn't that good. Thanks to whoever for posting the link - though I am thoroughly depressed now. Wait until Arsenal - ground hog day. Except they have a certain RVP who is going to murder us

IF I am a oil rich billionairne and bought the club I would flog every player apart from

Albrighton, Clark, Given, Bent and Agbonlahor and Garner and young prospects and bulid a completely new team and overhaul coaching staff and reinvent Aston Villa. We probably need 100 millions pounds plus money generated from sales to overhaul the team.

Or a half decent coach who can install basic passing and movement in the team. Rodgers and Lambert at inferior teams seem to do it.

Delph needs to go on loan to a championship club probably with a view to a permanent deal.

Bannan has been Blues since the drink driving incident too.

difficult for our younger players to come into a struggling side but if they cant make the step up at 19, 20 or 21 then its not looking too good for them. But to be honest I'm not sure about Bannan, Albrighton, Weimann, Fonz etc. Clark I think is the one with the best chance. Its why we need to get him into the side or send him on loan. Watching us play badly isnt doing him any favours. Herd will an option for us certainly as he has the physical attributes to make it in the EPL anyway but again he is fairly limited on the ball.

It's the end of MON's group of players. Petrov will keep going to the end of the season but he cant do it in a 2 man midfield any more. Cuellar is on the way out. It is Dunne's last season too Id say. Warnock is dreadful really, he has improved a bit from last season but he is piss poor and needs shifting. Heskey and Beye are just drawing their wages until the end of the season. Next season our squad will be hugely different but unless Lerner has rediscovered an interest in soccer then it will be stacked with even worse players. Jermaine Jenas on loan types of deals or Alan Huttons.

We wont go down this season unless Gabby gets a bad injury. But we wont be far off.

Until a new buyer is found then it really is proud history bleak future for the club. Right back to the end of DOL's time in charge.

We can't pass, except to the opposition.
We have no creativity.
We do not have any good players on this performance, so why don't we play Clarke and Cueller? We need a leader out there, we are spineless and have no pride.
What happens now? Something has to change.............

If Lerner and the rest of the Board can't see the danger signs after today's performance, I can only assume their statement about Europe from Faulkner was some sort of stupidity and lost them even more credibility.   >:(

The loss of Premiership status and its revenue must surely loom large in their minds for next year and maybe there is some hidden agenda in reducing expenditure to meet this more than likely prospect. After all they appointed a second tier manager, who's more comfortable in the lesser leagues.   ::)

Might have had a chance if Martinez had joined us, as Wigan play better football than us. and they work for 90 minutes.
