A friend phoned me up and said "Who would you most like to sign?". I told him Curcic, he told me we had, I was ecstatic.

Don't know what went wrong because I only saw him a few times, but one of those was at home to Leeds, when he and Yorke played Brazil-style football.

Ah well. Since then I've always told myself I really really don't have a clue.

He was the one player Little wanted more than any other at the end of 95-96. So you're in good company mate.
