If that lump Heskey is playing Sunday I may even walk out before kick off !! He really is a pile of *****.
I can understand why people think he does a job but for me he is a huge embarassment to the club and shirt.

PS anyone know how much the Half Villa /Half Opposition scarves cost? - Its VCTM jnr`s birthday next week and I want to buy some for him and his Liverpool supporting mates

I wouldn't bother making the journey then as he is almost certainly playing and you know it.

aye. you just hope that he'll give it a go with the fonz up front, but my guess is it will be Ivanhoe with bent or 1 up front with him in midfield

Yet again if Eck showed some bollocks and threw a kid in to keep 442 and we struggled after 60 mins then fair play bring on The Mule - but to just start with him, and even contemplate him in midfield, and he deserves all the booing he will get from me for his cowardice (again)

I'm coming round the idea of playing the Fonz in behind Bent. The idea would be to capitalise on the likely lack of a true defensive midfielder in Liverpool's side. I'm not sure they have any fit / eligible centre midfielders apart from Henderson and Adam, unless they choose to bring a defender into that position (eg Aurelio or Coates).

That might point towards Ireland or Bannan breaking from a 3, but recently we've looked rubbish with Bent on his own up front.

Fonz is the TYPE of player who would enable us to both have more to 'hit' up front and give us passing options in dangerous areas. With good movement he may well be able to exploit space in the same way Dembele did against them. There's just a question about whether he's good enough / ready!

If he plays then Heskey , then I hope to god he plays him as a striker/target man.

If not I'd rather see Bannan/Ireland  behind Bent or Weimann along side Bent.

There were loads of day trippers wearing those half and half scarves in the Upper Trinity for the manure game. Twats.

Yep, me and Leeg were asked directions to where to buy them. We sent the guy over towards Mr Woodhall's area.
good work

"Mr Woodhall`s area" being a euphemism for what exactly? :)

In your position in the tunnel, you will be able to do this to maximum effect.

We've played Emile as an attacking midfielder so I agree, human sacrifices is the next step.

I'll go for a 1-1 draw, on the basis that this lot are nearly as poor as we are

Bent to put us in front early doors and Carroll to equalise late on from a mis-hit Downing shot/cross...

McLeish's three home results against Liverpool when in charge of SHA were: 2-2, 1-1 and 0-0.

So it will either be 3-3 (highly unlikely) or -1 - -1(more than likely).

Just been reading that the decision of the Suarez/Evra/racism inquest is due tomorrow, and if guilty, Suarez faces a lengthy ban.

Let's hope it starts with immediate effect.

Lets hope so but I doubt he will be found guilty.  Apparently, some new footage has been handed to the police in the JT case but lets leave that talk for another thread hey!

Lets hope there is some in VP on sunday so we can chuck it at Downing

Can't understand the Downing hate. Surely he saw the writing on the wall. We had just employed McLeish and declared a war on wages.
