With Gabby out and Zoggy and Marc being our only wide men, i'd stick Daniel Johnson on the bench for this one. He's looked quite handy for the resreves on the few times i've seen him.

As much as I despise Downing I wish him no actual harm on the pitch. Just constant vitriolic abuse from the stands will do fine.

I wonder if Downing actually knows the level of animosity he's going to face?  The players are so hidden away from the real world these days it's plausible he'll think he might get a mixed reception at worst.

Well I hope he finds out!

No idea what will happen. But beating these is as a sweet beating ManU. Come on the Villa boys.

Should be a great atmosphere with the return of you know who, I have a feeling we might just nick it 2-1 for us Bent and Charlie, for them dont really care.

These thoughts probably confirm my place in hell, but I'll forgive Hutton for being rubbish if he nobbles Downing.

I know what you mean.

I never normally want to see a player get injured, but if Hutton puts Downing somewhere halfway up the lower trinity, I'll be very happy.

they really need to win if they're not going to start being left behind by the top4. 1-2 to them

When on form they have looked half decent and create decent chances - when they have looked poor they have looked really shit and we could get the measure of them

As long as AM changes Gabby for a striker and sticks with 442 then i fancy us - isolate Bent up front and we are in for a depressing day
