The only decision is who to bring in for gabby.

There's an argument for reverting to 433 with bannan, Ireland or perhaps n'zogbia breaking from the middle. Lucas is out and the Adam - Henderson axis is slow and weak defensively.

But we don't tend to look good when bent plays up top by himself so I'd grudgingly bring heskey in and hope he's motivated.

I'm going for a Villa win.

-------------Given
--Hutton-Clark-Dunne-Warnock
Albrighton-Petrov-Herd-N'Zogbia
--------Bent-Weimann

Dont change the system, Weimann is strong, can hold up the ball and knows where the net is.

I'd bring in Bannan for Gabby.

I think we'll get at least a draw. Even if McLeish plays defensively I think Liverpool will struggle to break us down. Unlike Spurs and to an extent United they don't have the players to do that. That said if we attack them I definitely would not rule out the win.

I've got a bad feeling that it's going to be like when Torres scored for them in the last minute (season before last was it?). Not much action, fairly even, and then a twat scores - the twat this time being Suarez.

Guzan
Cuellar - Collins - Dunne - Warnock
Herd - Petrov - Bannan
N'Zogbia - Bent - Albrighton

Obviously Hutton will play though.

Playing Wiemann is not a bad idea actually.

Fuck it, I'm predicting a 2-0 Villa win. Bent and Gabby to score. Downing to be sent home with his tail between his legs.

Given the way Mrs. Downing jumped out of tackles I often wondered whether, in fact, he HAD a tail between his legs.

I think we can win this one. I reckon the crowd and the players will be up for it. The only change I would make is Heskey in for Gabby and I reckon that would be Bent's preference too. I've just got a nagging thought that if anyone is going to spoil it for us it will be Carroll, he's due a goal.

1-0 Villa. Hutton to take out Downing in spectacular fashion. Bent is due a goal and Bannan to replace Gabby :-)))

I think we'll score and Bent will get it, but I agree with the Carroll thing and can see a 1-1.  However, I was positive for Bolton so I'll keep that up and have gone for a Villa win.  That'll mean 2-1 as I don't think we'll keep a clean sheet, so I'll say Petrov with the other.

And I'd go for Heskey in place of Gabby.

I'd settle for a 1-0 Villa win with Hutton kicking both ball and Downing into the back of the net from 35 yards.

2-0 Villa. Both for Bent both set up by NZog. A good day all round.

This is the one game i wouldn't mind Hutton being sent as long as he takes out Downing in the process
