Clark is a 'football player' rather than a 'footballer' -  which is my terminology for a player being able to read and play the game. (the former)

Remember his two goals at home v Arsenal last year?

His days are sadly numbered at B6. Yet I had hopes he would one day Captain us!

An offside smash and a three yard header from some awful defending?*

*I'm being facetious - I think he's great, but those two goals aren't probably the thing that demonstrate it.

I will be gutted if we let Clark go without him having a real chance,it could be like Gary Cahill all over again because Clark is going to be a great player! He can have Petrov,Heskey and Cuellar

Just watching MOTD2.
Let MON have Dunne and Collins, get Samba in and partner him with Clark.
Sorted!

I'd go for that.

Me too.

Phil Jones learnt a fair bit playing alongside Samba.

Expect some serious antipathy if Clark goes: that would absolute madness.
Clark should have been playing throughout this season already. For McMinge to not see that is damning.

I can't believe we would be daft enough to let Clark go.

Might not have an option if Mcleish won't give him a chance.

It's tabloid speculation, don't give it any credence.

I personally think Ireland and Petrov's time is up at the club.  We need to move forward now and Petrov, although he has been a decent signing (still dont rate him though), cant cut it anymore more.  Cuellar was always going to be sold or released in the summer so thats not much of a surprise to me

Cuellar will be a good signing for someone in January. I can see us letting him go as, again, he's barely featured.

I was thinking exactly the same thing yesterday. Clark needs to play alongside a big, strong partner as he's physically just not powerful enough.

Well I'd like Clark to actually get some game time, it's ridiculous that he's not getting the chance.
