Much, much better. Let's not get too excited - it's not over yet and Bolton look horrendous. But we're looking bright aren't we?

N'Zogbia looking bright if his final touch / ball  is still poor. Albrighton looking good too as is Gabby. Bent still doesn't really look at the races.

Herd is doing quite well, though I still think he gives the ball away a fair bit. I also think Warnock is doing well as is Dunne.

Nervous about Guzan still. I reckon he's got another mistake in him today.

I mean wow, they're seriously shit. How on earth was Stan allowed to let the ball roll across his body like that? We must take full advantage, this could be a goal-difference booster if we do it right.

I will absolutely 100% just take the 3 points and be very happy!

For me its not about the opposition its about our mentality and this has been how we wanted our team to start against spurs, Swansea, man utd despite what the score may be.

We look much much better balanced playing 442.

Stans had a great game (apart from his terrible miss) shows how important he is to us still.

even warnock is playing well. dunne has been excellent defensively but is taking too much responsibility on the ball. Just pass it to one of the midfielders. It is their job to create. Bent is hopeless at holding the ball up so its fairly pointless hitting it long to him (in his general direction).

petrov is maybe on a hefty wedge every week but no way should he be allowed leave in jan.

only negative has been bent really. he has been really poor. His movement is dire. hernandez plays a similar role at united but offers so much more. bent is only getting in gabby's way at the moment.

In an attempt to change our luck I decided to stay away from streams, radio and here apart from pre kick-off and HT. And stick to watching darts on ITV4 with just an occasional flick onto Final Score to see how we're doing. And it seems to be working! You may thank me at FT when I return and we have won 5-0!

Come on you Villa boys!!!!

I know Bolton are dire, but give our lads some credit. I think our overall play has really stifled Bolton, and having proper width is helping a lot. N'Zogbia looks a different player, and the goal from Marco will do him so much good. Yes, Bolton are mince but I think we've contributed to that. Let's get an early 3rd in the 2nd half and enjoy a game for once. It will give the lads a lot of confidence.

Hi peeps. Missed first half as decorating lounge but turned BRMB at 3.30 to hear Ron Toss going mental as Albrighton scored then even more apopleptic when Stan scored. By all accounts we could/should be 4 up so presume we're playing well?

Decent link anyone?
