No it doesn't.  What it actually pays homage to is the moment that the most significant football club in the history of the professional game ceased to be an irrelevance and a reminder of another era and proclaimed loudly, "We're on the way back."

It's better than the rest of the tacky rubbish available in the club shop!! I was in the city centre store yesterday hoping to get my son some stuff for Christmas & the merchandise is simply shocking!!!! Needless to say, I left empty handed!!!!
