My take on the kit, for what it's worth

I took the kids to the Villa Village last week to buy some tat for them and I thought the kits looked terrible. The away kit looks like a high visibility vest worn by security guards (the friendly fella behind the counter was laughing with me about how bad it looks) and the home kit looked like the sort of nasty nylon worn by none-league clubs. The Macron training clothes were worse.

I'm no Gok Wan or a subscriber to Zoo magazine but I reckon I can spot rubbish when I see it.

I ended up buying some non-Macron t shirts for the kids instead.
Funny you say that, I'm sure it just won most stylish award by some fashion guru in zoo magazine!
I actually really like it. I do however appreciate some h&vers would moan about the shade of blue in the sky if everything else was going well

I've seen the away kit on the telly, but hadn't seen it in the flesh at all until last night, when i saw a kid wearing one at the supermarket.

It's strange, you don't really realise just how bright it is till you actually see it.

I would of prefered the kit to be more 'Waitrose Green' than 'ASDA Green'.

The away kit is so poor it's actually grown on me and I think it will go on to be a classic cult hit

I understand the argument that the shade of blue in the sleeves has to match the badge, but that's still no excuse for having a different shade on the socks!

I also agree about the away kit becoming a cult classic... I'm gonna buy one and keep it under my bed for 10 years and start wearing it when it becomes cool...

The training gear of black and sky blue just look an exact carbon copy of the Nike training gear of the past few years.

Looking at the leisure wear in the City Centre store yesterday I can't say i'd wear any of it. Design wise it looks like the cheapo stuff that Villa sell themselves and no idea why the Macrown sew on logo is by the shoulder. Looks naff. Had high hopes but none of it so far is any good.

I long for the days of Hummel
The home kit is shocking, the away kit is just hilarious.

Lazio is my Italian team and I have to say Macron made a fantastic effort both for Villa and the 1st team of the Capital.

I run a record label in London and we were invited to enter a team to a Music Industry 5-aside tournament this weekend. Here's the kit I designed...
