Popped into JD earlier
Why is our kit £50 yet the manure kit is only £43 ??
These kits cost pennies to make

I think its to encourage people to buy from the Villa shop rather than sports shops.

I also heard at the kit launch that the kits are not going to be sold in Sports Direct - this was from another guy in the queue though so could be incorrect.

The kits are not fitted, they are very baggy which is another blow

Personally, I prefer them to be baggy. Though I guess it depends if you wear it more for actually playing football or for going to games etc.

I think I might buy the lime green away kit, store it away and wear it down the pub when I'm about 60

This is what I see. Every 4th or 5th shirt is another club.

Saw the shirt in New Street today. Not sure if this has been mentioned before but the blue on the shirt is lighter than on the socks, which is much closer to the blue I would recognise as the traditional Villa colour.

Looked odd to me.

is it the different material and/or light that make it look that way?

I don't really judge a kit until I see it on the players in a game.  What I would say is my 9 year old lives in his so it's been washed about a dozen times already and it still looks new. It's a lot thicker fabric than the Nike stuff.
