... and feel that a more traditional yellow shirt...
is it 'more tradiitional' to have yellow?
I know that we'd like to think that, but I thought the yellow away shirt was a product of the sixties rather than being a longstanding tradition. And we haven't had yellow for a while, have we?
I'd agree, I think the yellow away kit has style. The one that BFR had for the one-off FAC quarter-final (at Anfield?) was class, with the club logo washed into it.

Unless we was to have white and blue with claret trims the away kit is not really going to resemble Villa too much. So if we move away from a traditional away kit colour the lime green is quite brave move, it's a modern 'in' colour.
It's not for everyone, but I love it.

I'd love to see the Villa in a purple away strip.

I like the West Ham away one. Navy as an away strip would be nice, the current England one reminds me our our change shirt for 95/96.

Me too. The home kit should never be tampered with too much, but there should be some liberty with the away. I'll be getting one because it is so different. I'll tell a new away kit that is well smart, is the new Chelsea top. White with a diagonal blue stripe with the Adidas stripes in a two tone blue.

Saw our home shirt for sale in Luton Airport the other day, which surprised me.  12 months ago you couldn't have got hold of the latest Nike shirt in Aston, never mind Luton.

i too went to town yesterday to buy the goalie kit and had a dissappointed lad. I think the new home shirt is awful and my missus who works in the fashion industry says the material is cheap and hasnt been made very well. she says the training tops are made with cheaper material and there will be snags galore on them as soon as you put them on.
