Just seen the new kits and I think the shirt colours are wrong.  For me the blue is too light and the claret a bit too dark.  West Ham have always tended to have that lighter shade of blue and darker shade of claret, so to me it looks like a West Ham shirt, not a Villa shirt.  The deeper blue of the socks looks about right.  Away strip isn't great either.

The away kit is the better of the two, but why is it all so baggy?  The shorts look like the huge ones Blackburn had in the Shearer and Sutton era.

I tend to agree.
The blue on the shirt looks a bit washed out, if it matched the blue on the new socks, it would be right.

That said, I really like the new kit and will be getting mine soon.

I like all three kits. Home, away and keeper. Well done Macron.

Like the home shirt, but not a fan if the 'pantomime dame' hoopy socks - could've been a lot worse though

Nice to see that the kit is out in good time for the season as has not always been the case. Things like this, plus the launch, are very good in helping to drum up ticket sales.

Good point and we should applaud the club and Macron!

Agreed. Like the home shirt, don't care about the away but reckon they'll flog a few which is the main thing. Happy Birthday Mel.

They are horrible kits, looks like cheap championship kit.

I think both kits are great.  I hear people talk about disliking the collars on the home kit but I like them.  They do take you back to the chamopionship winning side and I've got no complaints about that.  As has been said the away kit is a bit loud but I like the thought of that.  Will make a statement when Villa are wearing them.  It's environmental too.

Cant believe the negativity towards the kits.  I think they look decent.   wonder what the reaction would have been if it was Nike or addidas that supplied these kits?  I bet the negativity wouldnt have been that bad.  i just think because its Macron that people having a dig.

I can think of at least two moderators on here who will love those 'pantomime dame' hoopy socks, won't you, girls?

Shirt looks great.

I like the 'Beware Of The Lions' across the official photo. There's a chant for next season.
