you'll never see the yellow on the kit because the players will have it tucked in. It's only fat bastards that will see it because they can't tuck it in and have to wear it hanging over their belts. I'm sure the whole thing will look smarter when on the players as opposed to some bloke who looks like he had a needle in his arm the night before.

Yellow stripe  = UEFA Cup winners.  Possibly.  Instead of or as well as a star.

I like it.

I hope the long sleeve is nice, and I'm looking forward to the away kit. Hope we took a risk with it.

Ok, I know I probably did get something wrong, in the face of lots of international sets of initials ending in 'FA'!  European cup, one.  Champs league (europe), one.  Is it the 'UEFA' bit?  E is Europe...  I'm struggling here!

Or is the errrrr for the stripe?!

Either way I really like the shirt.

Thought that the golden line on the bottom of the shirt might be saying, 'We're multiple cup winners and unbeatable  EuroChampions; just watch it!'

too assertive?

Not assertive enough. I'd like "Fuck off Small Heath, Albion, Stoke and Leeds" sewn in.

Perhaps those sentiments are embroidered along the stripe.
I saw the video (above) of Macron designing this shirt.  I can't believe that they've left that out, not with their legendary attention to club history and fine detail.

Then half way down they say this...."The vivacious away shirt, meanwhile, features a round neck design made with a knitwear profile and in navy blue colour. "....it looks lime to me. Ah....I see, the collar is blue.
