you'll never see the yellow on the kit because the players will have it tucked in. It's only fat bastards that will see it because they can't tuck it in and have to wear it hanging over their belts. I'm sure the whole thing will look smarter when on the players as opposed to some bloke who looks like he had a needle in his arm the night before.

Lots of players wear their shirts over their shorts instead of tucking them in these days.  Gabby being one.

I'm disappointed there's no stripey collar but not too bad I suppose; at least it appears that we haven't got those bloody squares, and here's hoping that we haven't kept the black socks- not a good look in my opinion which I'll associate with the McLeish era.

Very impressed with the Macron video hype.
Not impressed with the pics of the shirt so far.

...and can we please have a proper badge designed!!!

edit:
I pointed out the yellow band on the shirt when the vids were released and everyone ignored it...I thought it looked naff and pointless then, and it still is.

Not at the start of the game though as the rules are they have to be tucked in. Is the shirt going to pop out at times? Off course. Not a deal breaker though, at least not in my opinion. Each to their own and all that off course. Like I said, I bet it looks better modelled on a player than on some random bloke.

It'll be funny if the big kit reveal on the OS in 6 hours 27 minutes 38 seconds will just be a picture of that moody looking sod in the shirt.

Is that really a rule?  I remember some fuss about it at a World Cup years and years ago, but don't think it applies any more.  I don't think Gabby ever tucks his shirt in, and certainly doesn't start the game like that, eg:

Huh, maybe you're right. I thought that it was the rule. Maybe it has been relaxed. I really can't be arsed to go check the rulebook either.

I'm hoping Gabby wears his red and white shirt over his black shorts next season.

He's obviously a fan of SHA preparing for when they no longer exist and resigning himself to the fact that he''ll have to support a good club

We've had better and we've had worse. I could live without a few of the adornments but the main thing is that the basic design is there and we will look like Aston Villa, which hasn't always been the case in the past.
