Judging by the look of that designer, I'm fully expecting a sleeveless home shirt/vest, with ball-crunching shorts and espadrilles, a la 1983.  We'll look like Imagination's backing singers.

Didn`t you know that Leeeeee John is replacing Emile up front

That bass player with the world's deepest voice would be more effective than Ivanhoe

Who Brian Blessed

We're entrusting our sartorial wellbeing to a man with a hairy snood?

What a brilliant 15 minutes viewing.

I have not watched 15 minutes of foreign language film since my adolescence.

Anyhow, Macron have gone from Nil respect from me ......... to when can I give them my cash. Well played Macron, your care and respect is heavily apreciated.

Yeah, I like this guy.

Love the fact that they have used my favourite shirt as their inspiration.

Well done Villa!

Well done Macron!

Well done Italian guy in a funny scarf!

I see they've got the old green and black number on the desk. I bet they had a chuckle at that.

Loving the shirt that is doing the rounds, hopefully the away one isn't too crazy.

If the shirt is real it's beautiful. And it has the proper Villa claret after many years of dark Nike age characterized by a too dark claret.

It isnt. Its just a material design template for the shirts.
For white, see claret, yellow: blue and so on.

In the email from VIlla Direct it looks like the back of the shirt has a largish white yoke thingy on the back. A little intrusive.

The first batch of the new kit is currently in a factory unit somewhere in Leeds. My nephew had to go there on Tuesday and install a new printing machine for putting all the logos on. He saw the shirt, but was sworn to secrecy and watched like a hawk, so there was no opportunity for pics on his phone. He's a Wolves fan so didn't pay much attention to the fine details of the shirt.

Other teams new kits.

The Stoke one looks like they are trying to appeal to a new audience with a love triangle for Crouch, while Norwich one looks like a group of rugby players and the Swansea one 4 kids dragged off the street looking really confused by the whole thing.

God, that Yawnighted shirt looks awful. As do Wigan and QPRs efforts.
