Cheers. Looks like we are keeping claret shirts, with blue sleeves and no fucking stripes which is all I really care about.

Talk of, and a brief glimpse of, an embossed lion within the shirt. Nice to see they have evidently been looking at our past efforts going back some way - you see shirts from both the early 80s and the 70s in the clips

Macron certainly speak very well of the club, their designs and reassuring to know they clearly used some of our old shirt designs for inspiration. I like the idea of the embossed lion on the back so fingers crossed at least the home kit design will be decent. Away shirts seem to have some artistic license these days but would welcome a white shirt to compliment the home design if its as good as they make it out to be.

you get the impression from that video that as a smaller company they took a lot more time with their clients. With Nike, we were just a lower level project and were treated accordingly. With Macron, they look like they really spent time considering different ideas, the history of the club, and the fact that we are amongst the biggest of their clients, and certainly their highest profile client in the PL.

This is taken from the official Villa site:
http://www.kit.avfc.co.uk/kit

Looks like it will be modelled on the 80-81 kit.

Cheers for that Legion.  I'm not sure how to embed video but there's another video clip on the official site, about fifteen minutes long, concentrating on the design of the shirt.  A good watch for anyone who's interested.

just the snippets of the home kit are encouraging. The colour looks bang on and the dedication they are showing to the design give me the impression that they have put a lot of thought into this.

I am glad we left Nike, Macron seem to be building a good name outside of Italy. There are already some English clubs using Macron in the Football league mainly.

It`s just that Disney looking lion on the badge I still don`t like, bring back the McGregor version.

I could do with a new Villa shirt but when does our shirt sponsor finish?
