The current crest is nowhere near as good as the previous two.

I realise its probably a generation thing but for me the round badge will always be the one for me & the one I associate with the Villa.

Really don't like the current badge.....never have & doubt I ever will, just looks amateurish in my opinion!

Nice work again Marshall!

You'd have to put the star in the badge though (rules is rules) probably between the lion's front paws, and being uber-fussy I'd personally like to have '1874' on there somewhere, neither of which stops me liking your design which is far superior to the current one actually is use!

I'd also like to see the return of 'Prepared'.

I'd like to see the team playing as if they were prepared first!  :D

I can't upload a pic from IPhone, but there is another one going about that is similar to the one above, but with claret checks on the end of the blue arms and a check pattern in the main body. Black socks with it and current badge.

The above two are awesome I d be mega happy with them

Personally, I love the current badge, looks a lot more 'professional' than previous ones, for lack of a better word. I did originally hate it though.

So it has grown on you then? Same for me. Couldn't stand it at first, but have now come to accept it. The circular badge is still my preferred choice. Shows my age I suppose.

I don't get why they have black socks, I think it looks awful. Its also the kind of thing that ruins a game for my Dad (like changing the mascots to weird-looking lions).

I mentioned this on the Golf Day thread a few days back but the Former Players Association have a beautiful crest. A great blend of the current one and the round one (my all-time favourite). If the Lion wasn't yellow our current crest wouldn't be so bad.

the badge is a little too Chelsea for me. I like the current shield design a lot.

If you're not joking with that comment you should be permabanned immediately.

Did anyone else have the kit launch festival email yesterday?

Thought it was strange having the Nike Logo on the email promoting the new kit launch since its not being made by Nike anymore.

I delete all e-mails from AVFC these days without reading them.
