If an identical kit was produced by both Macron and adidas, I can guarantee that more adidas shirts would be sold. I don't recall West Ham getting stick when they had a Macron kit. In fact, I remember some people on here saying how nice their kit was in comparison to the design we had from Nike at the time. It's not like we've always had top name kit sponsors is it? We've had Hummel and Oasics for instance (and the really obscure one whose name I cannot recall in the eighties). People bought those shirts, nobody laughed and the team played no worse for the shirt on their backs. If the team play well they can be dressed in bin bags for all I care (as long as they are claret and blue). I just cannot understand the hysteria around this
