Brilliant!

Not quite up there with printing a photo of Burnley on the cover of our official history video, but still brilliant

that's funny. And I thought my mum was bad for sending me a birthday card with Trevor Brooking on the front. "Well the colours are the same aren't they..."  No mum

Bless her. I turned 39 a couple of days back and she sent me a card with a lot of red on it. It had a silhouette of a footballer on it, and then "YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE" underneath. I haven't had the heart to tell her.

Are you serious?

Yep.

When they released the Ofiicial History of Aston Villa video ( mid-late 80s?Reg Gutteridge doing the commentary) the cover featured a collage of Villa photos and pride of place in the middle of them was a photo of Leighton James and his Burnley chums. The cover was quickly re-designed to show the '75 league cup winning side in place of the Burnley photo.

The original video is a collector's item now

I was just in the shop and saw them, I couldn't believe it... and why do they have all Sid Gowans and not a mix of McGrath, Little, Withe, etc.

Surely they should just do a box of 14, all Withe (i'm a genius!!) different names on. Now if only someone could think up a reason to use 14 names.

I remember something similar happening to me, with Geoff Pike rather than Trev, though.

Surely you mean MacGrath, Liddle and White?

Definitely last years mistake. Think McGrath and Withe were the others, and I'm pretty sure they sold out.

Reminds me of those old nintendo footy games where they can't use real players names for legal reasons so they change a letter so it sounds almost the same.

FFS. This club is getting worse.

FFS. This club is getting worse.

I was really surprised to see that on the club badge rather than 'Prepared'.
