Id go with
------------Guzan
herd, cuellar, dunne, warnock
------ireland, clark
nzogbia, petrov, albrighton
------------gabby-------------

was all for putting clark centre half but realised we have few options in midfield.

id say mcleish with go for
guzan
hutton, collins, dunne, warnock
bannan, herd, petrov, nzogbia
gabby, bent

either way I dont think we will be beaten. 1-1.

Another poor performance against a team that isn't doing well in the league resulting in a draw because McLeish doesn't have the backbone to win games. It will be a similar game to Swansea, didn't go after a team for the taking... or even worse, we'll lose.

How fun...

I've gone for a 1-1. Gabby to score, could well be one of the dullest games of the season.

2-1 to Bolton.
Gabby for us,  Cahill and NRC for them.
Much ranting on here Saturday night.

Man Utd 1 Crystal Palace 2; Villa 0 Man Utd 1; Basel 2 Man Utd 1. Missed opportunity for weak-willed Fergie-worshipping manager.

In between laughing at Man Utd last night, I gave our line-up some thought. For the first time this season, I think I'd go with 4-4-2.

Why? Because I don't think playing three midfielders has helped our possession and ball retention one bit, and I think, against Bolton, we should revert to basics and play to the strengths of the players we have. Field two wingers, get the ball to them, get some decent service in to our two strongest assets, the strikers. Playing Albrighton wide right should keep Chris Eagles occupied too. He can be a handful.

This formation might also allow us to start a game on the front foot for once. Get at Bolton; they're low on confidence right now and we need to be positive from kick-off.

So, I'd go:

                           Guzan

Cuellar        Dunne        Clark       Warnock

Albrighton    Herd          Petrov     N'Zogbia

                   Bent          Gabby

Subs: Marshall, Hutton, Collins, Delph, Bannan, Ireland, Weimann.

I do not believe we will win this game, I have Bolton for the victory. I want us to win.
