The thing is, a draw will only be marginally less damaging for him than a loss.

In order of importance for the Ginger wanker

1/ Dont lose - do everything to not concede a goal
2/ Draw - much better than a loss and a good result in the wonderful prem (irrespective of the opposition or their form - tosser)
3/ Steal a win - do all the above and then hope you get lucky and on the odd occasion we get in their half we nick a goal then defend for our lives

Utter utter dross

Surely a bit of a shake up of the side need to be had too though this weekend. Clark and Cuellar into the back four for Warnock and Collins for me, with Herd, Petrov, Albrighton and NZogbia a propper 4 in midfield and Bent/ Gabby up top. Bannan can replace either of the central midfielders throughout the game.

I reckon we'll win. We're shite but not as shite as them.

Bent and Albrighton, 2-1.

you have missed 2a.
Once a goal is conceded, then defend so as to lose by as few as possible.

Drop Collins for Clark and we may get something, I feel. If Eck really wants us to keep the ball he has to a) make sure the keeper knows that him having the ball does not mean it has to go long and b) tell the defenders to give the keeper an option, tell the midfielders to give defenders and keeper an option, and drop Collins because he's never going to learn that.

If we're a crisis club then what does that make Bolton?

There's no way Collins will be dropped. Or Hutton. Or Warnock.

Same back 4 as it's ever been unless one gets injured/sent off.

Clark and Dunne are both better as the left sided centre half so I'd have Cuellar in ahead of Collins, and maybe Clark over Warnock, unlikely to happen though.  If Jenas is out I'd like to see Ireland given another chance over Heskey, again unlikely though.  N'Zog should probably go back in for Albrighton too and Petrov or Delph for Herd.

I'd like to see Carlos at centre half as well. He's never really had a proper run in the team there.
