I would not back us to beat Tamworth at the moment - so I have gone for a loss hoping they can prove me wrong

I think we will scrape a point.  Then no points until Swansea.

I think a win here would give rise to the prospect of taking something from the Liverpool game.

It was interesting to see momentum twist in the Wolves game yesterday. From being on the brink of having the game put beyond them with Larsson's penalty, they managed to capitalise on the lift of saving the spot kick, to go on and win the game.

We're desperate for a confidence boost and there are few places more inviting than Bolton, save Blackburn or Wigan, at the moment.

I think we have the ability to beat them and we were robbed last time out.

A Villa win, 3-1, and the first away victory of the season to raise heads and get us back in the much coveted 8th spot.

I have never seen us lose when I've gone to an away match*, and I'm pleased (???) to say I'm going this weekend.

1-2 (Bent & Gabby)

*This may be something to do with the teams we've played against in those away fixtures: (in no particular order) Coventry, Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest, Everton, Derby, West Ham & Sheffield Wednesday

Right, total change of plan, tactics and approach for this one.

Guzan

Herd
Clark
Dunne
Warnock

Albrighton
Bannan
Petrov
N'Zogbia

Agbonlahor
Bent

That's what I'd pick. 4-4-2. Let's press high up the pitch. Let's get the ball wide. Let's get service to Bent. Let's try and get Gabby in behind with a few balls in behind their centre backs. Let's get Herd and Warnock hitting their wingers early to stop the balls coming in the box. Let's get Jenas arriving late in the box....

Easy, isn't it?

I'm on a bit of a roll as well for not seeing us lose away (going to backfire on me I know, so touch wood etcl), my criteria is don't bother to go against any team from Manchester or when we're on telly. Bolton here I come.

3-0 Hutton, Warnock and Heskey !

A lot of Bolton fans up here are worried as both Wheater and Cahill will be suspended. So they fear for shipping goals.

As we don't score many I will go 2-1 Villa

If I was putting money on it, I'd say 0-0 as that's the most likely result.  But we're due a goal or two and they have players missing at the back, so I've gone for a Villa win.

1-2 (Bent & Gabby)

Jenas must be arriving extremely late in the box judging by your team ;-)

3-0 Bolton and Mcleish sacked on Monday. Unfortunately I can see one of them happening and not the other bet you can't guess which...

We'll get at least a point but it won't be pretty or enjoyable.

If Wheater and Cahill are both out we should be all out attack.

They are the only side in worse form than us at the moment, so we must be positive.

1-1 draw, and an insipid display.

What is the lowest we could be if we lose and others win this weekend? Could be 9th to 16th in an afternoon? The teams around us seem to have done ok, with Fulham having the audacity to beat Liverpool tonight (trying to beat a top club, we must ignore that nonsense....)
