AM is banging on, on the OS how Bannan and Jenas have given him food for thought for next week. We all know Heskey will be the first name on the team sheet next week.

I shudder to think how defensive he'll be against Man United.

He'll probably put two full backs on the same side to mark Ashley Young. Even if he's on the bench, just in case.

Well I suppose we should be grateful that he recognised that they made a difference

He will get one, the club don't want to loose him as box holder!

I like Emile, but in that role he offers nothing, it's negative, it's a waste of time and it's holding us back.

I could understand more if they played him in goal rather than midfield

FFS lay off him. There is nothing new here that we don't know about Emile. I wish he was not part of our set up but Manager after Manager  believes in him and it's not his fault that he is on the pitch.

It's the managers fault he is in the team. He might be a nice bloke but I want him nowhere near our starting 11.

How a manager can think that Heskey is a better starting option than Bannan/Clark/Albrighton/Jenas/Gardner/Ireland just shows that we need to be afraid....

Sadly true, you wonder if Mcleish will ever learn. He stands no chance of getting the fans onside if he doesn't be more ambitious and play the correct players.

I've gone past blaming Emile for his performances.  If a manager picks you, no matter what the position, you play.  He's not going to turn round to McLeish and say 'Don't pick me boss I'm shit'.

Oh it's not Heskey's fault at all. He seems to try as hard as he can, but he is just not at all suited to the role he's being asked to play.

It will be worse against Manure as I think N'zogbia will be dropped as he probably won't track back much against Evra/Nani/Young and I think Heskey will play wide.

And as for why he's playing every week, didn't McLeish say a while ago he was speaking to Warnock after a game and they both agreed playing Heskey helped the team play better?!

Well they're both wrong then.
