Zoggy has faded badly through the game; not imposing himself at all.

we are the epitomy of anti football

to be honest I think the players have given up the ghost on McLeish already.

Bannan has probably been our best player since he has come on. good chance for herd there

I can just hear the post match interview now. 'tough place to come and to only get beaten by one gaol is a good day's work'

0-0 at 87 minutes, under no pressure at the half way line, and it's passed back to Given. Kind of sums up the afternoon.

Watched from about 33 mins in. The commentator was talking about Rooney and Zamora when I tuned in, so I imagine that's a fair reflection on the previous half hours excitement?

From what I've seen it doesn't look so good, not very imaginative football from Villa who still tend to look for the long ball. When it looks like there's a break on, the players check themselves and pass sideways. Where's the urgency? The players look so lethargic.

Swansea don't look that much better either to be honest.

Have a weird feeling we might go for Zamora in Jan.  Does everything Heskey is supposed to do without looking like an extra from Gerry Cottle's Circus.
