I may be the first to say it but so many will be thinking it. Randy came with good intentions i'm sure but it is clear that without a clear understanding of the business your running you will fail. We have lost all the professional background personel grounded in knowledge of the premiership and are being run by a part time owner and an inadequate board, the signing of Mcleish a glaring symbal of their incompetence.There was a glimmer of hope that with Houllier we may have seen a Venger style Villa with cheaper more skilfull foreign players coming to Villa Park but i think even that was going to be too expensive for Randy. We have a board and a manager that have something in common, failure, Mcleish has had opportunities to show he's got what it takes but has failed every time.The goodwill that Randy had has all but gone and we are back where we were with Deadly, looking over our shoulders and hoping for survival.
