I've switched off now. I can't take any more pain.

Sadly I'm almost at the point of being immune to it.  We're shit, and all the time that Lerner owns us, we'll continue to be shit.  It's not worth getting overly upset about things.

Memo to Alex: YOU CAN MAKE MORE THAN ONE SUB IN AN ATTEMPT TO SALVAGE A RESULT FROM 2-0 DOWN.

And Herd for Delph with a few minutes remaining isn't it. Fucking joke.

Performed like a pub team. Drop the majority of them and give the youngsters a go. It wouldn't be any worse.

Delph. We're hanging on for a 0-2 defeat. Diabolical.

Why can't we ever play a team as bad as us at our meandering worst?

Shades of Liverpool and Man Citeh away last season.

You can blame the tactics tonight to a degree. But regardless of formations, there should be a bit more zip and bite to our play. We just look like we're going through the motions, playing the game almost at testimonial pace.

It's swell that RL likes Big Eck, and is bowled over by his enthusiasm for the game, the way he talks and a few nice tributes from Siralex.  I think I'd prefer a manager who didn't send his teams out to keep the score down against galactic superpowers such as Tottingham flaming Hotspur though.  He should have ditched that type of mindset when he left his previous employers.

Defending McLeish for tonight is impossible. The side are not even going into challenges, and Herd is again the only one looking half decent. Bent and Gabby are excused as the rest of the side need to pass to them, not continuously lump it aimlessly. The end of the collins dunne pairing is much needed.

I agree with everything Danny Murphy says. I dunno about neutrals, we're so negative and gutless, *I* almost want Spurs to score...
