The regression in our side is staggering, it's all very well laying the blame at McLeish's feet, but lets not forget who appointed him and sold our best players in recent years.  It's both of their faults.

This is dreadful.  Absolutely dire performance.

It really is. And I knew it would be from the second I saw that teamsheet. I really hoped mcLeish wouldn't be this negative at Villa, but here we are. Christ knows what'll happen if we try this against Man utd, Chelsea etc.

We used to play like them a long time ago.

It must have been a very long time ago as Spurs have always tried to play football. Two clubs with a completely different football philosophy.

2007 when we won 8 away games in a row those were the days!

What is the fucking point of keeping Heskey on the pitch. Fuck off McCleish.

Starting with Hutton on the right side of midfield - only a truly awful manager would do something quite so stupid.

warnock having a mare

GED knew the back 4 was white and would have replaced them. The centre of the park is embarrassing. To think Cabeye was on to sign is depressing.

I know ozz , it would never have been this bad.

We will be lucky to finish above 12th place this season.

No offence intended to you D.Boy but obviously everyone *wants* Villa to finish as high as possible, but to *expect* villa to finish higher than 12th considering the players sold (and not replaced) then you're destined to be disappointed.

I'm really not surprised at all by this.  I think the gulf between the top 6 and the rest this year is the largest it's been.

We are one of the premierships underclass and we know it - we play like it.
