Don't forget McLeish wants to give Collins an extended contract. Don't forget he bought Hutton off Spurs who are laughing.

And what's this about him improving our defence? It's worse than it was under Houllier. This talentless waste of space is useless at everything.

I see Hutton is just as effective at  RW as he is at RB. I thought his job was to nullify Bale...

'We researched and debated and discussed probably two dozen odd managers from all over until we came to feel that, despite Alex's last post, he met the criteria. Not only is he affable and optimistic, well-liked and certainly well-respected among peers and players alike, but he fit our plan. He fit our feeling that a modern manager needs to balance the hysterical urgency to win and win quickly with the equally crucial need to not squander the work of our academy."  R.Learner...

It is Collins at fault for both goals, fucking rubbish.

Yet he'll still be automatically selected in our first team in every single match he's fit as opposed to Clark who deserves a chance.

utter bollocks, stemming from an ultra conservative philosophy going into the game. This isn't MON's Villa where we can suck up pressure and attacking on the counter with pace. We don't have a John Carew holding the ball up. We don't have an Ashley Young bombing down the wing, we don't have a Gareth Barry quickly playing the ball out to the wings, and we don't have a work all day James Milner breaking shit down and steaming forward in support of the forwards. We are getting what we deserve. I really hoped AM wouldn't be like this where we threw in the towel before the game started.

Maybe the clearest image of our collapse so far - rocking up at spurs with a team full of defenders and still being 2 down at half time.
You say defenders? They don't know the fucking meaning of the word.

That is the sort of Blues-esque performance that many of us have been concerned about from the start.

Not even trying, ffs, not even trying to close them down. Disgraceful.

That's the thing if your going to do the defensive thing you have to close down as well. This is bollocks we have to try and attacking, it is fucking gash.

Collins,Hutton,Heskey off. Nzogbia,Ireland,Albrighton on. We are a fucking laughing stock. Yes Spurs are favourites but why not have a go and lose.

Albrighton did not even make the bench. Stick Bannan on with N'Zogbia and Ireland. Just go for it.

That's what is so disheartening. I really hoped that he wouldn't try that shit with us, but one look at that team sheet tonight has removed that hope completely.

We haven't won away all season, the way this game is going isn't surprising in the slightest!

Absolute fucking disgrace!
McCleish has gone into this game like we're playing fucking Barcelona. He might as well have just handed his own balls on a silver platter to Redknob before the game because he obviously had no intention on manning up for this game, fucking clueless twat!!
No grit, no composure, one meaningful tackle from Herd all half. 5 fucking defenders and they couldn't have scored 2 easier goals. If he had anything about him he'd admit he's out of his depth and fuck right off!

Collins waving for offside for the first goal, with two Villa players about two yards behind him.  You can only laugh.
