A touch of claret and blue in these boring Premiership-less WE

We must admit that in these boring WE dedicated to the National Teams we miss very much our beloved Villa in action.
So, we try and console ourselves organising old subbuteo tournaments in the clubhouse that hosts the seat of our fansclub.

The only problem is that obviously we all want to play with "the Villa", but the good thing is that is possible to see some masterworks like the following  Aston Villa classic (try to guess the season), and the 1980-81 Champions.









I also like the 1981-82 kit with the light blue flanks.




Does someone of you guys have any subbuteo Villa to share?

Grazie Eamonn,  I'm confident, Italy is a great country with rich history and great industries, artists, personalities. The problem are the politicians that make their and not the common interest, but I'm absolutely convinced that with Mario Monti has started a new era.

I like played subbuteo to death in the late 70's but never saw any teams that looked as good as that.

All the Villa teams i had looked like they had been painted by someone sitting in a coal bunker at night.
